You can choose to use our Image Enhancement setting when printing your products. It prevents common problems like a photo being too dark, over exposed, suffering from red eye, having a lack of contrast, poor colour saturation or a strange colour cast.
The image enhancement is selected by default when you register as a new member, but you can change this at any time if you want to. We would recommend that you do this if you have edited your image before uploading it to your PhotoBox account, as the enhancement could change the appearance of your image.
How do I turn off the image enhancement?
You can switch off this option in "My preferences" after logging in to your account. Simply tick "No" next to "Enable image enhancement", then confirm by clicking "Save changes".
You can always turn it on again before placing your next order if you prefer to use the enhancement for your new products.
What do you use to enhance the images?
We use Perfectly Clear™ by Athentech, and Fotonation's red eye correction tools.
